On this relatively small barrier island, we boast over a hundred restaurants, dozens of shops & boutiques, two major boardwalks with attractions, a waterpark, an aquarium, miles of beautiful, clean beaches and endless amounts of fun. There is something for everyone and all ages will find something to enjoy.

Attractions

  • Jenkinson’s Boardwalk, the Point Pleasant boardwalk is located about 15 minutes north of Ocean Beach. The boardwalk has rides, food, shopping, games of chance and an aquarium.
  • Casino Pier at the Seaside boardwalk is located about 5 minutes south of Ocean Beach. The boardwalk has rides, food, shopping and games of chance. Casino Pier is located at the north end of the boardwalk.
  • Breakwater Beach Waterpark, part of the Casino Pier complex, has ten different attractions as well as a restaurant and gift shop.
  • Barnacle Bill’s is a recently refurbished mini-golf course, arcade and restaurant in Ortley Beach, is only 2.5 miles south of Ocean Beach.
  • Jersey Shore Blue Claws – Minor league baseball located 20 minutes from Ocean Beach, beautiful, well kept, family friendly stadium.
  • Jenkinson’s Aquarium, located on the Point Pleasant boardwalk, sharks, touch tank, penguins, seals and more. 
  • Lava Golf located across from the Crab’s Claw, unqiue local themed mini gold course.
  • East Coast Escape Room Real life adventure game using clues to solve room puzzles. Super fun for a family/group.

  • Yakkity Yak Kayak Rentals– Right in the Ocean Beach area! Will deliver to you.
  • Ocean Beach Marina, situated in Ocean Beach III, the Ocean Beach Marina rents boats daily or weekly.
  • Route 37 Watersports offers jet ski & boat rentals near the Seaside Bridge.
  • Dock Outfitters in Seaside Heights has boat rentals, fishing and crabbing off of their free pier, bait & tackle for sale and a waterside cafe.
  • Island Beach State Park Nature Programs– Island Beach State Park is one of the few remaining undeveloped barrier islands in the northeast and home to an amazing diversity of wildlife and plant communities.
