Arrival
- If you notice any damage, or something wrong, please notify our office immediately.
- Make sure both the freezer and refrigerator are running on a medium setting. On hot days, when the refrigerator doors are opened and closed many times, the inside may not immediately be cold. Raising the thermostat above medium will not make it colder. Please be patient. In a few hours, the unit should be cold.
- If your grill is out of propane, take the tank to the Sunoco gas station in Lavallette (on the northbound side of Route 35). The charge to get a replacement tank is about $20. If you come to the Rental Office during your stay with your propane receipt, we will reimburse you.
- Ocean Beach Garbage & Recycling Pickup – please see below schedule.
- Lavallette Garbage & Recycling Pickup – Bay Beach Way garbage and recycling is picked up on Tuesdays and Fridays – President Avenue garbage and recycling is picked up on Mondays and Thursdays.
Departure
- Check-out time is by 10am. Please return your keys to the Rental Office and place them in our drop-box next to our front door. Beach badges do not need to be returned (except those from Rutherford Beach).
- Leave the house neat and orderly (close all windows, remove everything from the freezer & refrigerator and put all trash and recycling in cans outside).
- Return any moved furniture back to its original location.
- Leave the outside of the property neat and orderly.
- Please double-check the house to make sure you have taken all your belongings.
